Who is Mike?

The Lincoln Journal Star has called Mike Mennard "Nebraska’s Poet Laureate of Silliness." The title has caught on. Mike likes the title, but those who know him believe it's only partially true. It might be more accurate to say he is the ultimate "Renaissance man for kids."

Mike has won awards and accolades as a poet, an author, a folklorist, a songwriter, a speaker, and a storyteller. And now Mike is trying his hand at musical theater.
